Job Duties

Responsible for successful delivery of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module implementations in client engagements, ranging from implementations & upgrades to extensions of existing applications.  Duties include:  

  • Assist clients in selection, implementation & support of SAP solutions, including design, configuration, development & testing
  • Collaborate with Business & Product Owners to elicit requirements, evaluate feasibility, prototype solution, perform gap analysis, estimate efforts for implementing Application Enhancements
  • Design Functional Specifications, Workflow Report Interface Conversion Enhancement Form (WRICEF) analysis & its development
  • Provide functional & business process expertise on a project team, consisting of consultants, remote global resources & client employees
  • Participate in pursuing sales opportunities & working on bid & proposal efforts 
  • Identify any issues during implementation of SAP & resolve 
  • Architect Integrated Logistics Solutions for client businesses
  • Participate in design activities & gap analysis prior to implementation 
  • Analyze & debug ABAP programs & functional modules
  • Provide functional & business process expertise to project team.
  • Intermittent travel to various unanticipated client sites (25%)
  • Telecommuting is permissible from any home office in the US.
  •  Will supervise 3 SAP EWM Consultants’ work.

Experience and Qualifications

Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or a related technical field, followed by 3 years of post-baccalaureate experience with SAP implementation in SAP Logistics. In the alternative, Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science, or a related technical field, followed by 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience with SAP implementation in SAP Logistics.  

Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:  

  • 3 years’ experience with SAP EWM implementation 
  • 3 years’ experience defining technology-enabled solutions, prototyping & configuring ECC-Logistics Execution (LE) & EWM systems; and 
  • 2 years of experience in SAP MM/PP/SD/LE modules.
  • Intermittent travel to various unanticipated client sites (25%)
