data architect consultant

data architect: Frederik

What is your role as data architect?
Making sure we use the fitting architecture and technologies and keeping security and costs in the front of our minds – those are my core responsibilities. But I’m mostly a big fan of the pre-sales phase. Exploring new environments, connecting with clients, and presenting solutions that really click with them. On the delivery side, it’s great to see a team grow and hit key milestones.

What makes working at delaware so unique?
You’re involved in every step of the process, from shaping ideas in pre-sales to making sure they land well in delivery. We also tend to focus on solutions that fit the client, without adding in flashy features just because we can. It creates a culture that values quality over quick wins.

data engineer: Amelie

What is your role in data?
I’m a Data Engineer. I started with a broad scope five years ago and was always drawn to the technical side. But before writing any code, it starts with listening to the customer: capturing their requirements and understanding which KPIs and insights really matter for their business. A big part of the job is thinking along with them and shaping the solution. Once that’s clear, I translate those needs into a concrete setupturning scattered data into clean, usable pipelines that feed the insights our clients rely on.

What makes working at delaware so unique?
You’re trusted early on if you show enough motivation. Then, you’re supported as you grow. There’s also plenty of space to explore neexpertisewhether that’s during a project, a new training on Databricks, or even at a conference in Vegas, if you’re lucky! You’re always encouraged to go after what interests you.

What do you do in data migration?
I’m a Data Migration Consultant. I help clients move from legacy systems to new ERP platforms by making sure their data is accuratecomplete and ready for go-live. Over the past eleven years at delaware, have focused on the full design and implementation of large-scale data migration platforms. From translating customer requirements into logical rules and transforming data, to enhancing data quality in collaboration with the customer, and preparing and loading data into the new ERP system: I’ve been included in the full end-to-end process, and that what makes it interesting.

What makes working at delaware so unique?
You’re not boxed in. I’ve seen people grow into roles that didn’t even exist when they started. There’s room to experiment, specialise, and stay close to what you’re good at. For me, that’s always been backend. But if I ever wanted to explore something new, that door would be openIt’s a flexible environment where your expertise is valued.

AI consultant: Tallin

What is your role as an AI consultant?
I help clients understand how AI can help them with their specific goals. Juggling multiple AI projects at once - each one requiring a different skill - creates a variety that I’m really fond of. Sometimes it’s about automating internal processes, other times it’s about building something that doesn’t exist yet. I love that I get to be creative while staying close to the business side. Seeing an idea take shape and delivering something valuable is what I enjoy most.

What makes working in data at delaware so unique?
There’s a lot of room for initiative. If you’re curious about a new technology or approach, you’re encouraged to explore it through dedicated incubator or R&D time. You can shift gears as your interests evolve, and that’s a big reason I’m still here.

data visualization expert

data visualization expert: Jens

What is your role and why do you like it?
I specialize in data visualization, turning raw data into dashboards and visuals that help people understand what’s really going on. I started in an internal role, and got curious about how data works behind the scenes, which led me into visualization. There’s a creative side to it that I really enjoy. Now, I’m also stepping into project management. It’s been a gradual shift, based on what energizes me.

What makes working at delaware so unique?
You’re encouraged to learn by doing. I got responsibility early on, even as I was still figuring things out. That mindset makes it easy to grow into roles that play to your strengths.
