The delaware SAP Finance & Business Controlling team has an exciting challenge waiting for our new SAP Controlling (CO) Senior Consultant. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and motivated professional who has the qualifications and work experience (6+ years) needed to take on an expert role on medium and large transformation projects, strongly relying on SAP CO.

 

As an SAP CO professional, with business understanding and experience based on multiple SAP CO assignments, you’ll deliver projects covering the entire scope of management accounting and its integration with other ERP functionalities and external systems and solutions. This includes analyzing your clients’ business requirements, designing the system or solution, building and testing it, all the way to the go-live as well as post go-live support. You will proactively manage all the risks and resolve any issues that occur on these projects.

 

Detail-oriented and highly organized, you are able to deliver multiple projects within your domain, from greenfield implementations to S/4HANA migrations. Your clients will rely on you to deliver all the necessary SAP CO services, from overhead accounting, product cost controlling, and material ledger to profit center accounting and profitability analysis.

 

You will also have the opportunity to participate in pre-sales activities, such as the preparation and presentation of solution proposals, design documents, and effort estimations based on your clients’ business requirements.

 

Last but by no means least, you are a natural communicator. You know how to engage and interact with customers and partners, notably SAP, to gain their trust and respect. You are also adept at coaching your colleagues and eager to actively share your knowledge with them in a structured way.

We strive to provide high-quality, integrated, and automated solutions for small- and medium-sized businesses, but also for multinationals. Our ultimate goal is to guide our customers toward best practices in finance, thereby making finance and controlling more efficient and enabling the finance department to become a true business partner for the entire organization.

 

We’re a pioneer when it comes to SAP S/4HANA. While we still support customers who use SAP ECC, we leverage the most recent S/4HANA versions on all of our new projects, including migrations. So you’ll definitely be involved in a wide range of innovative SAP projects!

Let’s see, if you . . .

  • have a university degree and at least 6 years of relevant professional experience;
  • have granular knowledge of the SAP Controlling product portfolio, including material ledger and margin analysis, ideally supported by certifications or other credentials (a business background in financial or management accounting is definitely a plus, as is a good understanding of other SAP Finance modules);
  • have strong consulting experience in the SAP CO area in key delaware industries, with a focus on manufacturing;
  • have carried out at least 2 full life-cycle implementations with SAP ECC or S/4HANA (multiple and recent versions are a plus);
  • have proven experience with the integration of other SAP ERP modules such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP) and Materials Management (MM), with knowledge of Project Systems as a plus;
  • are flexible and able to handle priority changes in order to deliver the best results;
  • are a dynamic, results-oriented professional with an appetite for innovation;
  • are a strong communicator, speaking the language of both technical and business stakeholders;
  • are fluent in French and/or Dutch (essential) as well as proficient in English.

The ideal candidate not only has a profound knowledge of the SAP Finance portfolio, they also have the skills and mindset necessary to guide our larger, more complex transformation projects in the finance and controlling area.

 

As a Finance Solution Architect, you should be able to cover the full spectrum of Finance, including financial planning & analysis, accounting & financial close, finance operations, treasury management, and enterprise risk & compliance.

 

You will play a lead role in medium to large SAP Finance projects, safeguarding strategic choices during implementation. Here, again, you should bring your expertise to all the different phases of the project: from pre-studies and prototyping, business analysis and roadmapping, to the actual SAP Finance architecture design. You will also lead client workshops and conduct knowledge transfer activities to help our customers develop their skills.

 

Excellent social and communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating closely with our business consultants and coaching your colleagues during implementation, as well as participating in our internal knowledge transfer. These key skills will also help you build effective links with the outside world, establishing long-term business partnerships with our customers and leveraging the SAP network itself based on your extensive experience.
