The digital workplace team at delaware is looking for an enthusiastic technical consultant with a strong interest in AI, OpenAI, search, chatbots, knowledge apps and putting it to practice in customer projects with an agile team.

We design, deliver, implement and support solutions within the Microsoft 365 technology stack, including the Microsoft Copilot, but also other services like SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, etc.

What will you be doing?

Stay informed on the latest developments in large language models and chatbots, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure OpenAI, MS Copilot).
Translate project specifications into accurate estimates, accounting for development, testing, documentation, and other agile artifacts.
Quality coding according development best practices, taking into account, maintainability, future proofness and properly documenting the code.
Ensure thorough testing of all work, including edge cases and acceptance criteria.
Perform pipeline-based deployments
Collaborate within your project team using agile methodologies, participating in daily standups and sprints
Maintain an updated backlog in Azure DevOps, reflecting daily progress and remaining work.
Sharing knowledge with other colleagues in communities and team meetings

Is there a match?

Strong interest in the domains of enterprise search, chatbots and assistants in general
Strong, technical interest in technology related to AI and M365
Large language models (LLMs), Azure OpenAI
Office365 (SharePoint, Teams, MS Viva suite, M365 Copilot..)
Graph (Connectors, Search API), Azure (web apps, SQL, functions…)
Eagerness to deep-dive on new topics like MS Copilot extensibility (plugins, connectors..) or semantic search and complex topics like enterprise search, chatbots and knowledge graphs
Good organizational skills to plan own work in agile context
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Expertise in IT projects as a C#.NET developer
Expertise in front-end development (React) is a plus
Expertise in M365/AI/Search/chatbot-projects is a plus
Expertise in working with Azure pipelines, pull requests and automated deployment is a plus
