Job Duties Include

Provide Quality Assurance and expert Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) knowledge on EWM projects, acting as the Solution Architect on EWM projects in the US.


Duties Include:

  • Participate in the SAP EWM implementation process in the US.
  • Provide Quality Assurance and expert EWM knowledge on EWM projects, acting as the Solution Architect on EWM projects in the US.
  • Develop SAP EWM demonstrations and supporting materials and deliver EWM demonstrations for blueprinting/design workshops.
  • Support the development of the EWM development hub.
  • Work with business stakeholders, implementation partners and AMS providers to enable business outcomes and ensure optimal functionality of SAP EWM.
  • Support major aspects of the architecture of the SAP EWM applications, including components such as user interface, middleware, and infrastructure integration points;
  • Train new hires on Fast EWM solution.
  • Work across solution teams to ensure proper system/data integration.
  • Build and deliver executive communication regarding project strategy decisions on scope, cost, and quality.
  • Act as an escalation point for solution design or troubleshooting with the client.
  • Support the recruiting process including interviewing new EWM candidates.
  • Work across Belgium, the UK and the US to understand new SAP EWM capabilities, and adapt our implementation methodology accordingly.
  • Investigate areas of EWM automation and innovation.
  • Liaise with the Delaware EWM global resources in Malaysia, China, and Philippines.
  • Diagnose & troubleshoot obstacles that relate to the solution(s).
  • Build knowledge documents required for delivering SAP WM/EWM solutions. 


(Will supervise 7 subordinates such as EWM Developers; position is eligible for telecommuting from any U.S. home office location; position requires up to 80% travel to various unanticipated client sites in the U.S.)


Experience & Qualifications

Position Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field, followed by 3 years of experience in a SAP software consulting role. 

 

Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include: 

  • 3 years of experience implementing SAP Warehousing Solutions to include Warehouse Management (WM) & Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
  • 3 years of experience working with SMEs to design business requirements.
  • 3 years of experience delivering technical & consulting advisory services in Supply Chain Management business processes.
  • 3 years of experience in EWM development & Internet Transaction Server configuration for RF Mobile devices.
  • 3 years of experience in SAP Workflow Development & Administration.
  • 3 years of experience with design & development in SAP HANA, SAPUI5 & SAP FIORI.
  • 3 years of experience working with High-tech manufacturing industrial business processes implementing SAP Warehousing Solutions (EWM/WM).
  • One year of experience working with transportation unit management for inbound, outbound (vehicle check in- check out, door docking, loading, unloading, departure).
  • Certification in SAP Extended Warehouse Management 9.4 or S/3HANA.
