delaware North America is looking for a SAP AMI Product Senior Developer that wants to be part of our team. Position is available immediately!

Experience and skills

- Lead Development and implementation of 2-tier AMI architecture using SAP BTP Integration Suite

- Develop and support multiple direct AMI adapters to HES systems (Itron Collection Engine/UtilityIQ, Landis+Gyr Command Center, etc.)

- Architect direct SAP S/4HANA Utilities ↔ HES integrations (bypassing full MDUS layer)

- Design end-to-end solutions for meter data exchange, on-demand reads, remote connect/disconnect, and Demand Reset, Switch Status, and Meter Ping commands.

- First Read Validation, AMR Cutover, Meter Provisioning & Commissioning, Exceptions, 

- Build reusable iFlows, mappings, routing, and custom adapters in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration)

- Ensure clean-core compliance, security (OAuth, certificates), and high-volume performance

- Conduct workshops, define roadmaps, and govern multi-vendor AMI integrations

- Hands-on configuration and extensibility and development in S/4HANA Utilities Device Management (DM/AMI)

 

 

**Required Qualifications & Experience**

- 10 years in SAP Utilities, with 5+ years focused on S/4HANA Utilities / IS-U AMI Development

- Proven track record in AMI implementations, including direct/2-tier HES integrations (3–5+ projects)

- Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite, iFlow development, adapters, and API Management
